What is Pranic Healing?
An introduction to Pranic Healing — a non-touch, energy-based complementary practice that works with the body's natural life force to support wellbeing.
Pranic Healing is a non-touch, energy-based complementary practice developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. It works on the principle that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, and that this process can be supported by working with prana — the life force that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body.
How it works
Every living thing has an energy body, sometimes called the aura or bioplasmic body. This energy body contains the blueprint for the physical body and plays a vital role in maintaining health and vitality. When the energy body is depleted or congested, it can affect how we feel — physically, emotionally, and mentally.
A Pranic Healing session involves scanning the energy body to identify areas of imbalance, then cleansing and energising those areas using specific techniques. No physical contact is made at any point.
What it is not
Pranic Healing is not a replacement for conventional medical treatment. It is a complementary practice, meaning it works alongside — not instead of — any care you are already receiving. It makes no medical claims and does not diagnose or prescribe.
Who might benefit
People come to Pranic Healing for many different reasons. Some are looking for support during a period of stress or change. Others are curious about energy work and want to explore it for themselves. Some simply want a quiet, unhurried space to pause and reset.
If you are curious about whether Pranic Healing might be right for you, a free initial consultation is a good place to start.
